Who am I?
multi-skilled Web Developer and Webmaster Nerd
I’m a multi-skilled Web Developer and Designer and all round Webmaster nerd based in Finland. I’m originally from the UK, so my client base covers both Finland and the UK.
The biggest passions in my life are my family, my football (I support Bolton and play for a Finnish team), and anything & everything to do with online marketing.
I spent most of my 20’s travelling around the world working in the travel industry in some amazing locations before I settled back in the UK in 2005.
This is when my passion for online marketing started and I created my first website in late 2005.
Search4sun.com started off as a travel blog advising people on the best places to travel – and this eventually turned into an online booking portal for package holidays and flights. www.search4sun.com is still my passion – my ‘first born’ that I’ve had my ups and downs with over the years!
I have worked with a number of tour operators developing, updating, and designing travel websites until I started my own company in 2013 in the UK.
I have had the pleasure to work with a wide range of small and medium-sized companies who have seen the potential in ‘going online to increase their sales and product awareness.
In 2015, my family and I relocated to Finland in search of the fantastic Nordic lifestyle, and Johanna, my wife, and I started North Marketing Oy.
I now have clients both in the UK and Finland and I’m learning Finnish! I can honestly say that writing HTML code is much easier than learning Finnish!
